How long exactly was the whole show from start to finish? (estimated)?

They started just after 9 - took about half an hour to set the stage up after Gojira but they then played for about an hour and a half I think. Those who missed SS missed out imo, they played a very good set. One of their singers has the weirdest moshing style, looked like a hyperactive pecking chicken..

Such an amazing gig! Gojira turned out to be WAY better than what I thought they'd be. Just a shame I missed Sonic Syndicate's set. In Flames were awesome. They even played Colony! The only thing missing from their set for me was Zombie Inc.

I'm not a big Sonic Syndicate fan, so their show wasn't for me. When Gojira opened with their new song Oroborus I was blown away from the start, so much energy from the bassist especially. I was sooo glad when they played Flying Whales :) As for In Flames I thought that their second song I'm The Highway would have been a better opener and I agree with most fans that it was a shame they didn't play Only For The Week but whatever it was a cool gig none the less ;)

I watched from the balcony, Gojira sounded fine up there. Good show, all in all. Only downside was In Flames not playing 'Only For the Weak'.

gojira's sound wasn't great. but all in all a good gig. astoria's always a real good venue. in flames started on the wrong song, the whole sheet thing was used wrongly, and with the wrong timing. shame really. cause they had fucking good sound, and the set up was pretty fucking good. oh!, yeah the lights on the back wall... the twisting writing???? MUST have been a fucking joke? right?

Anyone get the whole in flames set? I left after the Dead God In Me/Jester Race combo, it wasn't going to get any better for me after that, they NEVER play anything off Jester Race much less those 2. Set up to that point was something like: The Long 1 from Sense Of Purpose (Im not good with the names on sense of purpose) Another 1 off sense of purpose Vanishing Light The Mirrors Truth Insipid 2000 Satelites & Astronauts System Pinball Map Delight & Anger Colony Disconnected Cloud Connected Dead God In Me/Jester Race

Yeah I agree about the In Flames set just seemed a bit tame for some reason. But it was enjoyable none the less

Gojira was the highlight of the night. I actually thought In Flames' set was quite disappointing... The opening was really really boring... Plus, they didnt play Only for the Weak!!!! But manages to get their set list, whoooo XD

Right ol' laugh of a gig! Just a bit annoying about the long wait, missed the first band!

Rookie mistake of leaving too late for Gojira, got there 10 minutes before they're on so good foresight, just wasn't expecting to queue for 30mins as the only 2 times i've been to Astoria i've gone straight in, so half the set missed. The fact I was going to leave 20mins earlier too only takes the piss too! Haha

I say Gojira 1 - 0 In Flames. My humble opinion :) Gojira's setlist (from what I remember / recognized) was more or less: Oroborus - Clone - Backbone - Rememberance - Flying Whales - Toxic Garbage Island - Esoteric Surgery (not sure of this one) - The Heaviest Matter of The Universe
