'Paint it Black' color scheme

  • 'Paint it Black' color scheme

    AT LEAST bring this back. I can't stand this red and I know loads of people that prefer the black.

    edit: and just to add my only other problem with the update is the shoutbox being on the bottom of the page. Not every shout youve received needs to be shown. It makes the page way to long etc

  • They will be bringing this back they're just being incredibly lazy about.
    I really hope it'll come soon. But still, it's not gonna solve all the other problems...

    not working on weekends can be considered lazy?

  • Paint last.fm black!

    I wanna see it painted, painted black
    Black as night, black as coal
    I wanna see the sun blotted out from the sky
    I wanna see it painted, painted, painted, painted black.

    Paint It Black
  • okay, I agree but I would like to say...it takes more than "a few minutes" even to do a simple black color scheme

    until you learn web design yourself, don't call it lazy

    The 'paint it black' has been confirmed by staff members as something which will return some time soon (it's even hinted at in the blog). There's no way of saying exactly when it will return, though.

    + No plug-in require

    + Take about 1minute (6 small steps)
    + No-technical knowledge required

    so after this you will have sth like that :

    Instructions :

    use firefox
    find and edit the file (<path/to/profil>.default/chrome/userContent.css
    (generally rename userContent_sample.css) *(see path list at bottom)

    }

    #headerWrapper h1 a{

    background:no-repeat url(http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/2955/logo3dc0.png)!important;
    }

    #header{

    }
    #headLinks p,

    }
    #page #idBadgerUser{
    background:url(http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/7210/idbadgerleft3ft9.png)!important;
    }

    #idBadgerDropDown, #langSelector.js{
    background:#333!important;

  • ... but I don't use firefox. And I won't because I love my Opera.

    But anyways I don't think bringing back black colour sheme is all we need. I've always disliked the red but there are several things annoying me much more than the red like the much white space, the wider 'about me', shoutbox at the bottom...

  • Black is available using the "Stylish"-Plugin for firefox browsers!

    You just have to install the Stylish plugin for firefox like it's told here.

    userstyles.org-servers are currently down at the moment, but I uploaded some Stylesheets as txt-files to my server. (You just have to copy/paste them into "Stylish" by clicking on the "write" button)

    I paint it black and it doesnt stay black, just goes red right away - I allow cookies so I have no idea whats up with it...

  • the whole colour scheme idea...

    on the last.fm icon on the tool bar, i like how you can have the colours green, blue and yellow also. it'd be cool if you could have the same colours on your actual last.fm page instead of just red and black.
