My first request is not new, but I want to renew it, namely a "Group Connections Radio" that will play tracks from the group's connected artists rather than from the group member's profiles.
The other thing I would like to see may not be that easy to implement, but I believe it would make life a lot easier for group owners. I would like to to see a "Connections" button on the artist page in addition to the recommend, tag, and write about buttons. If you clicked on this new Connections button, you would get a drop-down list of your groups. Clicking on a group from this list would connect the artist to the group. This would be much faster and more convenient than, once having discovered a new artist, having to go back to the groups page and add the artist through the connections window. Obviously, if you don't any groups, you wouldn't get a drop-down list. Maybe a note saying something like "You do not have any groups to connect to." would then be appropriate to keep users without groups from being confused.
(Hey - that sounds like a good group to start - Users Without Groups - no, I'm not going to start it.)
I made my first recommendation to a group and I see that the drop-down list mechanism is in place to send recommendations to a group. The one difference for group connections would be that only groups you have the rights to make connections to would be listed.
