  VUfan, I think that is mainly due to the smoking ban...otherwise all the good concerts would be 21+...but for 18+ shows they can still serve liquor (e.g. First Ave) and overcome the smoking ban with the rowdy crowd on the corner...I had to suffer through missing a LOT of good concerts back in the day due to age, now it's just monetary LOL...
