Who?
Xtaster is a UK-based lifestyle community.
Our members are into a huge range of music including rock, indie, punk, hip hop, R’n’B, metal, dance, hardcore and all sorts of other sounds and beats in between.
Together with our members we take on bands that we like and represent them around the UK.
We've grown from a group of dedicated music fans into a cutting edge network of really active music fans, promoters, writers, journos, web and graphic designers, musicians and all kinds of visual artists.
We arm Xtaster members with the right tools to hit the streets and the web to create an impact within their local areas across the UK and get their favourite bands heard!
What?
We rely on our members to spread the word about the projects they sign up for.
A few examples include straighforward word-of-mouth, setting up a listening party, giving free samplers to mates, hitting gigs and clubs to give out flyers/merch/promo items to the right people or dropping music and product samples at your favourite hang-outs in your area.
It's all pretty straight forward and the kind of thing you're probably already doing anyway - talking and raving about the bands & artists you love and convincing your friends and colleagues that they should check them out to.
We send you the tools you need to spread the word, you do it, send us a little written report and some pics, and you get a reward in return for your efforts - easy!
Why?
By joining Xtaster you can become an active part of your favourite bands' development. You join the team, spread the word, and we sort you out with stuff like flyers, posters, stickers, badges, getting into their gigs for free, and for those who do the best teaming, you'll receive rewards in the form of free CDs, T-shirts, festival tickets, signed and exclusive merch.
We also try our best to hook up meet-and-greets with the bands wherever possible.
Basically - if you're active, on the case and good at completing missions, you'll rise through the ranks and become one of our star members in which case you get the best missions and the best free shit!
