Minutemen AND MC 900ft Jesus. Marvellous. Criminally I don't own anything by the former group, just stuff on cassette, but I did see Firehose twice. Also saw MC 900ft Jesus many years back - TRUTH IS OUTTA STYLE.

I loooove the Minutemen. never got to see either band...I think my favoritve MC900FTJ is "I light the fires (while the city sleeps)"

where'd you see firehose?

I saw them in Leeds and Newcastle. I've got the albums 'If'n' and 'From Ohio'. Yeah, I like that Dynamite Club track. Sadly a bit far for me to travel to see them though.

I'm off to see Gang of Four in Manchester on Sunday, can't wait.
