ヴィドール (Vidoll) was formed by ラメ (Rame) and テロ (Tero) and was signed under KISAKI’s former record label, Matina. Soon after, ヴィドール immediately signed to KISAKI’s new record label UNDER CODE PRODUCTION and remained there as the record label’s flagship band.
Just recently they switched labels and signed a contract with Sword Records - the same label which has well-known bands, such as D’espairsRay under its wings.
Despite not being as popular as other japanese rock bands, ヴィドール are still pretty popular among Visual Kei fans in Europe and in Japan they’re one of the most famous VK bands.
The band creates an unique sound with a mix of dark sounding melodies, groove, and sometimes mellow ballads, that might seem deranged－but always catchy.

It's not that they "experiment". The old stuff is better because the newer stuff has moved in a bad direction in terms of theme; away from the more obscure and darker themes into a happier style which enables more possible commercial success and is less offensive. There's nothing wrong with the newer things, and the two b-sides on Blue Star were nice, but the overall trend is toward a softer image to appeal to wider segments of the population. And Rainbreak, shut the fuck up, since when does liking the "older things" better - in the context of Vidoll at least - suggest anything "unique" or "true"? If anything, prefering the new things would be more "unique" and "true".
