    mam wkoncu wolny czas bo ostatnio mialem zawrot glowy na uczelni, ale juz koniec od 34 godzin jestem magistrem :D:D:D

    teraz czas na uzupelnianie brakow zarowno w ASOT'ach jak i TATW oraz innych ciekawostkach!


    na dobry poczatek moja ciezka, ale jakze ekscytujaca praca przy listach z Trance-Xplosion, na ktorej nie moglo mnie zabraknac!

  • The 10.000 tracks mark & the Man of the Moment

    That's right, I just hit 10.000. Sure, it's just a number, but it was Sander van Doorn's August 2006 Identity mix from DI.fm that took this place, which means a lot more. I actually wrote up an entire journal entry on him two days ago, but last.fm got stupid and gave me an error when I submitted, clearing everything I wrote. So, here we go again!

    This place has been quite fun the last 10 months. Found some nice music here, Eisbrecher is the first that comes to mind here. But recently, another development in my musical tastes occured. I read in the Shoutbox on Sander's page here on last.fm that his Essential Mix was really good, so I decided to try it out.
    Boy, that sure was a good idea :) I listened to it twice that day, 4 hours well spent. The way he mixes all those styles together is just fascinating. The base is techtrance like most of his productions, but he flawlessy integrates progressive house like Don Diablo or Steve Angello, hard electro like Abel Ramos, sometimes even techno like Umek.

    It's just totally awesome, all these styles I wasn't really familiar with are suddenly very addictive. A few nights ago I was skipping all my songs in shuffle because I didn't feel like it, until I gave in and put on my techtrance folder, newly filled with stuff that came from Sander's mixes.

    Yup, I'm a fan. Looking forward to this month's Identity mix over at www.di.fm, and I'm curious to what Sander's remix of Tiesto Feat Maxi Jazz - Dance 4 Life sounds like: Sander sounded quite enthousiastic about it in his newsletter. Needless to say, I also voted big for Sander on Djmag.com's DJ Top 100 (2nd place, right behind Armin)

    Now that you read my journal, folks (wasn't it fun?), you owe it to yourself to check out some mixes from Sander. They're quite good you know.
