Bikstok Røgsystem was the first dancehall group to sing in danish. Their lyrics are comparable to the lyrics of Danish hip hop outfit Malk De Koijn. Even though they’re often mistaken to be a hiphop group they don’t share any significant similarities to hiphop music
The group has three members, namely Eaggerman (Dwayne McFarlane), Pharfar (Søren Skov) and Blæs Bukki (Lasse Bavngaard). Blæs Bukki is also a part of the group Malk De Koijn.
Bikstok released their first and only album, “Over Stok og Sten”, in 2005 and was very well received by the critics.
