Burning Star Core is the brainchild of violinist/vocalist/electronic improviser C. Spencer Yeh of Cincinnati, Ohio. Occasionally, a small rotating cast of improvisers join him to play bigger events including Trevor Tremaine and Robert Beatty of Hair Police.
