Even happier when Jeff stopped screaming and started singing. I still think The Rescue is their opus. It's their transition sound, where they're not quite sure how to go about creating their new sound so they just throw everything at a wall and see what sticks. It's more of a raw sound, and more creative. DE/DS is a great CD but it's when they channeled their new sound into a more profitable pop sound. Still good, but it lacked the rawness of The Rescue. Either way, I love all of their releases in a different way, and I'll miss them. I hope Jeff decides to sing with another band sometime.
