Days Away was an indie/alternative band from Langhorne, Pennsylvania. They released an album titled Mapping an Invisible World on Fueled By Ramen in 2005. In December of 2006 they announced their departure from Fueled By Ramen. In 2007 they released an EP of songs entitled “Ear Candy For The Headphone Trippers.” Vocalist Keith Goodwin and drummer Tim Arnold are now in a new band called “Good Old War” with Dan Schwartz from Unlikely Cowboy.

Vocalist Keith Goodwin is also a part of the project The Sound of Animals Fighting; an experimental, progressive project composed of members of Circa Survive, Chiodos, Rx Bandits, Finch, and more.

also, if i remember correctly from what Keith told me (forgive me if i am wrong, this was after their last show in December), Days Away is NOT done! they are on a hiatus for now while a few members attend college. Also, check out Keith and Tim's new band: http://www.myspace.com/keithdantim It is really good stuff, like kinda alternative-indie-folkish. It's not Days Away, but its still really good.

I listen to a lot of heavy music, but Days Away is just incredible compared to other slow-softer bands in their genre. I love listening to their music because it is so relaxing and peaceful. I love God and Mars (acoustic) and To Ramona and cannot wait for the new EP (The final mixes for the EP leaked to the internet so i will be downloading it!) have a good day and keep listening to Days Away.
