To add to the 'one hit wonder' thing...Come on Eileen was number one in both the US and the UK, and in the US they were never heard of before or since. But over here they'd already had another number one with Geno, plus other hits before and after. So yeah. Only a one hit wonder if you're an American. Either way, I love them.

In the US they're considered a "one hit wonder"-one song to chart in the top 40. Its not a bad thing, many groups have had great success on one hit and toured the US multiple times. Im a big "big country" fan and i have 6-7 cds by them and I know they're great but nobody is going to take the time to get to know them now. Just like nobody is going to invest time to learn Dexys back catalog. Just saying..
