Dr. Octagon
1,058,185 plays (84,762 listeners)
The original album acheived critical acclaim and was a springboard for Dan the Automator’s young career, but Dan the Automator and Keith have been reported to have had a falling out. Keith drew from an entirely different group of collaborators for The Return including One Watt Sun, DJ Dexter, formerly of The Avalanches, and New York MC Princess Superstar.
Prior to release, a digital comic accompanied by remixes of material off the new album was released. The digital comic contains mp3s in each of its eight weekly installments, remixed by Alines, Kid Loco, Cassettes Won’t Listen, DJ Ese and catchdubs among others. Also potential contributors including Aesop Rock, Prefuse 73, Her Space Holiday and Spank Rock.
More information about the comic can be found here.

I'll always fondly remember half-falling out my car window (someone else drivin), drunk as fuck, screaming out "Half-shark-alligator HALF MAN!!!!" to this group of insecure wank-ass frat dudes at a gas station @ MSU. They didn't know how to react, and thus frowned confusedly.

God, I really wish he would do another album like Octagonecologyst. It's a shame he hates the album.

@ bazii: Wow... what a surprise his lyrics aren't stereotypical, but neither is the album! His beats aint what you'd class as normal hip-hop either, still fucking amazing tho, Dr. Octagonecologyst is simply a class album. @ liquidphil: in the words of dr.octagon, 'suck my oil...'

The only shit Kool Keith Album is Dr Octagon II the bootleg version with the blue cover. I love all the albums but Octogynecologyst's production is landmark amazing stuff. Pisses all over 90% of rap albums that has followed it as well. Keith signed my Sex Style, Diesel Truckers and Critical Beatdown and did a Dr Dooom Ashtray for another firned of mine who met him on his second Aussie tour -

best PRODUCTION ever for keith, that's why it's tops. as for Return? I heard it and decided not to buy it, it's so weak compared with Octagonecologyst.
