By their first, short nine months together, El Toro! had already achieved the impressive feat of launching the beginning of a promisingly innovative career. Within a year of their conception they had independently released the Dot Dot Dot Ex E.P., the El Rancho Del Oro E.P., and the La Rosa E.P., toured most of the East Coast and Mid-West, and signed to the rising indie record company, Undecided Records , which Revolver Magazine covered in its October 2004 issue.

Shortly their record deal was signed, El Toro! began recording their first full-length album at Marigolds and Monsters studio with Matt Malpass (previously of Farewell to Fashion) and in part at Glow In The Dark Studios with Producer Matt Goldman (Copeland, Underoath, The Unicorns). The groundbreaking record, entitled May and Marielle was released on Undecided Records in March 2005, and is being distributed by Victory Records through Sony Music. May and Marielle is widely available online and across North America at Best Buy, F.Y.E., Amazon.com, Tower Records, and many other local and national record stores.

With their unique talent and drive El Toro! has created a new genre of music: dramatic rock and roll, or Dram Rock as it’s been affectionately titled. By combining elements of indie rock, experimental sounds, sampled loops, and trippy effects they create a live show that’s so intense the audience is left dripping with sweat just from watching. No matter how large or small the crowd, El Toro! goes the distance to give a tremendously energetic performance that makes it easy to understand why fans love them.
