So... this was going to be a very interesting week musically speaking, for I should be listening to music for all day long. Computer working, holidays... but I forgot the Human Factor. I've been away from home almost the whole week! Now things will come to a normal routine. But let's take a look at my plays:

Frozen Silence and Bliss were my choices to play as background to my PC repairing sessions, and proved to be worth it. I prefer Frozen Silence to Celestial Aeon Project (both projects by Matti Paalanen), as my friend Bravura said before me, some time ago.

This week I also checked Mike Portnoy's tribute to The Who: Amazing Journey. And I liked it, but in comparison I like his The Beatles' Tribute, Yellow Matter Custard, better. Maybe it's just because I haven't listened to a lot of The Who's stuff yet, so only time will tell.

I also rediscovered Warmen, Children of Bodom's keyboardist side project, thanks to Fenix2099, and I still think what I thought long ago: they have killer tracks, but others tend to bore me, they lack 'purpose' other than shredding. But Salieri-titled tracks are very cool, and some of the pop-ish songs are beautiful. Or that Michael Jackson cover, Somebody's Watching Me, which is kinda fun!



Changing the mood, I also listend to:

-The always wonderful Purple Electric Violin Concerto by Ed Alleyne-Johnson.

-Chick Corea Elektric Band's Inside Out, which I happened to like a lot (I like that kind of jazz-fusion music, but I'm not so exposed to it... I'm gonna try to fix this ASAP.

-Eliane Elias' Dreamer, soft and warm female vocalist quiet music, with some bossa-nova flavour.
