Flux Of Pink Indians were an anarcho-punk band that originated from Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire, England. They recorded three albums and three EPs in the 1980’s.
The bass player of the band, Derek Birkett went on to form the One Little Indian record label. He still occasionally uses the name Flux (under which the third album of the band was released) for some projects.

i don't if proudhon invented the symbol itself, but he devised the saying anarchy is order, which is what the circle A stands for. i think it was first used in the Spanish Civil War, but I could be wrong.

lie_cycle is wrong. The anarchy symbol was devised by Pierre Joseph Proudhon (arguably one of the founders of anarchy as a political movement) in France in 1852.

The original Tube Disasters from the Neu Smell EP/Single was the best version by far. I don't think that they INVENTED the Anarchy sign in the least. That was lifted from very old graffiti and popularized by Crass, who were the founders of the commune that Poison Girls, Flux..., and others emerged from.
