Combining poly-rhythmic tapping guitars, pulsing analogue synth, vocal melodies and chopping drum-lines, Foals create organic agitated dance-pop.

They recently signed to Sub Pop for US distribution and featured on the cover of NME magazine, tipped as band of the year for 2008. In March of 2008 they were a featured “Breaking Artist” by Rolling Stone. Their debut album Antidotes, produced by Dave Sitek, was released in March 2008 on CD, LP and a limited 2 CD version featuring a bonus disc. Its album tracks saw Foals move away from their characteristic math rock sound toward one that was dreamier and slower paced.

Foals are known for the intensity and jam nature of their live performance. They formed in Oxford, UK in 2005.

I've decided that I really, really like Foals. And the vocalist is excellent to me for the style of music - however, this is coming from a guy whose favourite vocalists are Spencer Krug and Isaac Brock.
