This album has some of the most beautiful songs ever written, including "Charity Case," "Who's Gonna Save My Soul," and "Neighbors." Much of the album is incredible, both in production and lyrics, but a few songs certainly ruin the overall feel. "Open Book" is certainly the worst song by them, and one of my least favorites of all time. "Would Be Killer" seems like a mix of "High Plains Drifter" and "Looking Down the Barrel of a Gun," (both Beastie Boys songs) but lacks the appeal of either. Overall, it seems the good outways the bad, but there are more lows than their last, St. Elsewhere, but the highs ("Charity," "Soul," "Run," "No Time Soon," "She Knows," "Neighbors") are incredibly high. Their masterpiece is certainly coming, and this shows it, but this isn't it. OVERALL: A-. I guess. It's hard. Maybe a B+. But A- I'd say.
