Which made up the main set, the encore started promisingly with
Self Healer. Before going completely out of this world with Last Night I Missed All the Fireworks, which will always top my wish-list of songs to hear live. This was followed by possibly the most up-beat and crowd-pleasing track from the latest album No Emotion. Then the band tried to calm the crowd down and send them on their way with the fantastic Bronze Medal.The crowd was unwilling to disperse however and began baying for one more song, despite the clubs efforts to usher them out by putting on some music. Fortunately the band re-emerged to perform an explosive version of
Little Discourage.I think the encores were definitely one of the best gig experiences I've ever had, just stunning.
