Not horrible, but even worse than Antics as the band moved further away from the sound on Turn on the Bright Lights. why? why? why? WHY? You make me sad Interpol :( . The stripped simplified sound has nothing on the warmth of their first release.

Another perfect album. The drums at the end of pace and the whole of rest my chemistry are highlights. Fuck it, no highlights it's consistently perfect

The best album of Interpol. I saw them at Summercase 08 (Madrid) and it wasn't a very good concert but they sound acceptable.

I refell in love with this album this summer. It was wonderful. And mammoth is most definitely NOT notable. Pioneer to the Falls owns them all. Also, you gotta love No I in Threesome, Pace is the Trick (for the killer drums and the line: See how I stun? ), The Heinrich Maneuver (for this epic pause in there), Wrecking Ball (for the lyrics), and Rest my Chemistry. THOSE are the notables imo.

To me it's the lowest one on Interpol's. Antics is their best by far

There are a few duds scattered throughout. Overall, it's a pretty solid release. The opening and the closing tracks are some of the finest songs they've recorded.
