probablemente el disco mas rompedor de los ultimos años, algo asi como unos nuevos nirvana dentro de un indie absolutemente perdido...

Just listened to this and it's great. It's such a "late-night album". It makes me want to go listen to it while driving around at two in the morning.

I agree, this album is flawless. It's hard to pick the best track as I love both Obstacle 1 and 2, think that NYC is beauty, Roland is awesome and The New has probably the best build-up. Untitled is the perfect opener and PDA just Rocks. Stella... was the one that caught me on the first listening. Leif Erikson closes the album heavenly. And if the rest seems weaker, it's just because they still have to find their right place. I can't live without that album.

I think this album is the best release of the '00s. At least, I'm having a rough time of thinking of much that could beat it.

Yep, the rest of their albums are so terrible that sometimes I forget how good this one is.

I never particularly disliked Interpol, but I never thought that they were anything special, until I heard this album. It blew me away. What happened to them? Their newer songs seem like unsophisticated, unsubtle, rough, radio ready chord bangs compared to the magic on this album (although by general standards they're not bad). Oh well.
