Jason Jordan Segel (born January 18, 1980) is an American television and film actor, known for his work with producer Judd Apatow on Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared and for the role of Marshall Eriksen in the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Segel stars in and wrote the Universal Pictures comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and will appear in I Love You, Man for Dreamworks.
