I much prefer Jenny solo to Rilo Kiley. Now that Jenny's off doing her twangy thing, Rilo is devoted to the pop end. I don't foresee any Rilo Kiley albums similar to anything prior to Under the Black Light from this point on. Just my thoughts. Acid Tounge is just as interesting as Rabbit Fur Coat. I'm loving it.

To be honest, I miss the rousing backing vocals of The Watson Twins on RFC, but Acid Tongue is something totally different and the fluctuation from simplistic songs ("Black Sand" and "Sing A Song For Them") to complex ones ("The Next Messiah") makes the album really fun to listen to. And I'm glad the wrongly tagged tracks are going down in the list. LOL

Yep. The Next Messiah and the title track are both great songs, and for its lyrics I also really like Godspeed. Anyone else buy the CD? Instead of a booklet you get 4 small pictures from some studio session. And on the back it just says "DON'T DROP THIS RECORD". Heh.
