LUNA SEA
1,567,021 plays (44,978 listeners)
LUNA SEA were signed to Yoshiki of X JAPAN’s Extasy Records and released their debut album LUNA SEA in 1991. They became immensely popular following this release, which combined softer and structured visual kei with some harder, more speed oriented tracks. Hardworking, talented and image-conscious, LUNA SEA achieved success rival to that of their mentors and friends in X JAPAN. The band continued until 2000 (having previously been on a one-year hiatus during 1997), wrote two more albums (SHINE and LUNACY, respectively) and came to an “indefinite end” at the end of the year. The members remain very active, now pursuing various solo projects. Worth noting, members INORAN and 河村隆一 are currently involved in the band Tourbillon together.

you should give more attention to the 1st album, but it would be better if the remastered version was online ;/

what's your definition for cliché? Because it's probably totally different from mine.

I For You is just cliché pop rock sometimes, it's a good song, but BREATHE is more classy and different yet still pop.

@chuuzetsu How does it not add up? Compare Dir en grey's b-side "Unknown...Despair...a lost" on the 1998 "Jealous" single to LUNA SEA's "G." on their 1996 "Style" album. If you don't see the LUNA SEA influence, much less the ENTIRE musical rip-off that's borderline plagiarism, then I really don't know what to tell you...

PedroAsak wrote:
I think I for You is awesome. While BREATHE is a good song too it lacks what is necessary to be a single in my opinion...it's so boring sometimes :/...so equal from beginning to end... :/
