1. How did you get into 31?
Menomena--I'm pretty sure I heard about them when I was all Radiohead-crazy and heard their debut sounded like Radiohead so I checked em out. I think at the time I was still a loser so I didn't like it, but I ended up buying Friend And Foe later and I love it.

June of 44--Pale Horse Sailor: PORT AND BOW. STERN AND STARBOARD.

The Mars Volta--Easily De-Loused in the Comatorium. None of their later work even compares (though Frances the Mute is pretty damn good too).

Aphex Twin--4. It's the quintessential Aphex Twin track, honestly.

Beck--Oh, loads! Every song from Midnite Vultures makes me want to dance, but Cyanide Breath Mint is a fantastic sing-a-long track. There are too many songs by him that make me happy to list here, on da realllllll.

Queens of the Stone Age--Oooh, that's a tough one. I think I'd have to say A Song for the Deaf. Fucking killer guitar on that one.

Mogwai--Well I'm just glad I picked up Mr. Beast, otherwise I probably wouldn't have gotten into the whole post-rock scene. Thanks, Mogwai!

Busta Rhymes--NO BUT HOW AWESOME WOULD THAT BE

Godspeed You! Black Emperor--When I bought Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven, I had no idea what I was getting into. Storm blew me away. I had never heard anything like it in my entire life. I still haven't.

Battles--SZ2. SO EPIC.

Primus--AHHHHH, THE GOOD OL' DAYS. Definitely gotta say Pork Soda. Their darkest and best album.

His Hero Is Gone--Zero. Clearly I don't go to too many concerts.
