In 2000, Guinness World Records listed Madonna as the most successful female recording artist of all time, with estimated worldwide sales of 120 million albums; in 2005, her record company credited her as having sold over 200 million albums worldwide. Madonna is one of the highest earning female singers of all time according to both the 2007 Guinness Book of Records and Billboard Magazine. Forbes magazine has estimated her net worth at $325 million. In addition, Madonna’s 2006 Confessions World Tour holds the record for the highest-grossing concert tour ever by a female artist.
After signing to Sire Records in 1982, her debut single “Everybody” was released in October of the same year. One year later, her debut album “Madonna” followed, and since then hits such as “Holiday,” “Like a Virgin” and “Like a Prayer” catapulted her to massive success. By the 1990s, her commercially successful albums, constantly reinvented image, groundbreaking music videos and controversial nature would earn her the title “Queen of Pop.”
According to the aforementioned Guinness Book of World Records, Madonna is the most successful female solo artist of all time. Apart from achieving twelve number one hits and thirty-seven top ten hits on the U.S.

HC is awesome but the live performances of its songs have been really bad :( ...she has even used playback for the chorus of GI2M and she doesn't even try to sing the chorus of Candy Shop... I love her and I really, really hope she improves her vocals for the S&S tour... or that she gets some magic microphone or something that makes her sound good.

The "Give It 2 Me" video is poorly edited overall, though it does have some very good bits.

As simple and unoriginal as the GI2M video is, it's very well-made. I just wish they cut that arse out of it, he has no reason to be there, prancing about.

I agree with you Warrior_Bard 100% but I still <3 HC for it's music, the Rolling Stone review actually puts it in the best way: "The songs are solid, but slightly anonymous, as though they could be stripped down and peddled to other singers."

Well most of the new albums are either urban retro, pop retro or indie rock, anyway the thing is that madonna can do better than this and we all know it, I agree, if HC wasn't hers people would think it's good.Good for a stranger beginning in the pop scenery but not good enough for Madonna .Don't get me wrong i like Candy Shop,Give It 2 me and even 4 minutes but the album itself is just too sweet and ''hard'', it lacks something that most of her previous albums had.(I'm not trying to bash her work or anything) Well, I still hope for a rock album in the future.

The new last.fm really does have some nice features. For example, now I can see every single Madonna track I've ever listened to.

Yes, I am sure that HC is original enough. People wouldn't even question its originality if it had none of the big names. v_v
