Nocturne
On Tour40,706 plays (2,958 listeners)
There are mutliple artists with this name:
1) Nocturne. Originally hailing from Dallas, Texas (now based out of L.A.) the industrial/nu-metal band Nocturne is taking the country by storm. The band’s CD “Guide to Extinction”, has received rave reviews. InMusicWeTrust.com calls Nocturne’s vocalist Lacey Conner “powerfully provacative”. Nocturne has toured the U.S. with the likes of Mushroomhead, Dope, Pigface, King Diamond, and Bile, and has shared the stage with bands like Ministry, the Genitorturers, XEO3, and ohGr. The band is now temporarily on hold while Lacey finishes taping for the VH1 show “Rock of Love”.
2) Nocturne is from Centre France. Nocturne is a musical representation of Art Shock visual work, which is completely based on historical facts related to the II World War. Representing on a crude way this reality in sounds images.

Whoa, I didn't know about the Rock of Love thing. I might have to force myself to watch it. I've seen Nocturne play live twice and they were great. Listening to the Axis of Evil remixes right now, and the song Lacey did with Pigface is pretty cool too.

Twizabeth, only 6 years? ;) I started getting into Nocturne in 98 or 99 I think it was, just before Twilight came out. I have a few demo tapes still rolling around somewhere. Even a shirt with the old logo. Anyone hear Lacey with Pigface?

tx for info ... so sad about the band broke :(

leezrd wrote:
There wont be a new Nocturne Album, the band broke up a year ago. Lacy (the singer) moved to Cali and is working on other music. I used to work with their original bass player (on twilight and paradise wasted) Sad thing they broke up when they did, with so many female fronted bands in the spotlight these days I think they would have really taken off.
