By the time the band had reached their 10 year anniversary together, they had sold over 1.2 million albums and performed in front of over 1 million people. Their most recent studio record, Stories of a Stranger, produced radio favorites “Love and Memories” and “Heard the World” as well as mtvU’s Most Downloaded Video of 2006, “Lay Down.” The band followed up the successful release with a live double disc CD and DVD set, Live From Madison Square Garden, recorded during the band’s second sold-out performance at the prestigious arena.
Early in 2008, the band members holed themselves up in a studio in Los Angeles to work on their next project, All Sides. The album, released on July 15th, is certain to be yet another milestone in O.A.R.’s storied career. For more information about O.A.R., go to www.ofarevolution.com.

I saw OAR live way back in 2002 then again at their recorded Madison Square Garden show, they have disappointed me as the years have gone on, buying into the music corporation, I'm no mindless punk, but I know a sell out when I hear it, nothing will beat that first show of them in a college gymnasium and the first time i ever listened to "The Wanderer".

Something Coming Over Me is hardly a good song. In fact its probably one of the worst songs they have. Although you are correct in your 52-50 reasoning...I'll give you that.

no true artist strives for mass appeal. they strive to create work of art that fulfills their imagination and artistic drive. To create art that makes them proud, not necessarily money.

i'm loving the all sides cd after being introduced to the band by a promo during the ohio state/usc game. i haven't heard the earlier stuff so i can't really compare but it seems as usual that original fans are bemoaning the more accessible direction the band's gone in. all i have to say about that is cut it out. there is much growth in mass appeal. you strive for it (or should) in your own endeavors so why criticize an artist when he does the same?

these guys used to be good. They were awesome in 2003. Too bad they went the way of teeny pop trash with their past two albums...

i was born in shady grove hospital and have lived in potomac, MD all my life. I went to school at Mclean School of Maryland, which was off of Tuckerman Rd and across from churchill high school, if you know where that is. I now go to Ursinus college, but before I left for college, I went down on route 28 with a couple friends, and we came across Black Rock. We had to listen to your song while going across the little bridge and walking around the stream. It was....pretty awesome. Represent Montgomery County and Rockville MD! I don't know if you guys went to Churchill High School, Wootton, or Whitman, or Walter Johnson...but I find it pretty awesome that you guys came from where I have lived all my life. You probably know falls road and tuckerman, well I live off of that intersection. You could even go up glen mill to my house haha!! well xoxo good luck with everything. Great music.. Sincerely, Natalie Renee

Their show on the 8th was mediocre at best. Very unfortunate, they were amazing the last 3 times I saw them.
