Old Man River is Sydney based singer/songwriter, Ohad Rein’s (Nations by the River) solo project. The debut Sunshine EP captures a uniquely hypnotic blend of rootsy/folk, 60’s pop and eastern psychedelia. O. Rein’s special and soothing voice accompanied by the warmth of acoustic guitars, Indian instrumentation (sitar and harmonium) and ambient loops creates an intense heart opening experience. Think The Beatles post-India having tea with indie legend J-Mascis, while Dylan’s outside in the alley crying, open bible in his hands, as he listens to the whispers of Gillian Welch.
