About this album

© EMI Records Group UK & Ireland (2004) 13 tracks (46:04)
Entirely written by Roger Waters, this is the last Pink Floyd album with Waters. It is also one of their most political albums mainly criticising the British role in the Falkland war.

Some say this is Roger Waters solo album with the rest of Pink Floyd as a support band, though the great guitar work of Gilmour is certainly adding to the strength of the album.

For those who loved the psychedelic work of the early PF this record must be a disappointment, there are no long compositions, no sound scapes; its a full blown rock album. with some typical 80s influence such as background quires and saxophone solos…

But… still it is one of their and not only their greatest albums.
