  • Octobre 2007 - Mes albums du mois

    13 Nov 2007, 06:00 by Kahwui

    Chamillionaire - Ultimate Victory (RAP)

    Little Brother - Getback (RAP)
Miam : When Everything Is New ; Two Step Blues ; Breakin My Heart ; After The Party ; That Ain't Love

Lord Infamous - The Man, The Myth, The Legacy (RAP)
Miam : The Roll Song ; Til Death ; Yeah I'm Wit It ; Ism ; You Don't Want None

Army of the Pharaohs - Ritual Of Battle (RAP)
Miam : Murda Murda ; Seven

The Hives - The Black And White Album (ROCK)
Miam : Won't Be Long ; Well All Right! ; Tick Tick Boom

Hell Rell - For The Hell Of It (RAP)
Miam : You Know What It Is ; Streets Gonna Love Me ; Deep In Love ; I Ain't Playin Wit 'Em

Project Pat - Walkin' Bank Roll (RAP)
Miam : Good Weed ; Ready For Whateva ; See Me

Playaz Circle - Supply & Demand (RAP)
Miam : Betta Knock ; Duffle Bag Boy ; Dear Mr LA Reid

    Britney Spears - Blackout (POP)
Plaisant.
Miam : Get Naked (I Got A Plan) ; Freakshow

Boyz N Da Hood - Back Up N Da Chevy (RAP)
Assez sympa.
Miam : We Ridin' ; Say What's On You Mind
    Berk : Table Dance

Trae - Life Goes On (RAP)
Dommage.
    Miam : C Me Ride ; Nuthin 2 A Boss ; Throw Aways
Berk : Life Goes On mais surtout les quatres interludes / dialogues, interminables.

    Radiohead - In Rainbows (ROCK?)

    [VIEILLERIES]

Lil' Wayne - Tha Block Is Hot (RAP)
Miam : Loud Pipes ; Whatcha Wanna Do ; Remember Me ; Come On

CunninLynguists - Will Rap For Food (RAP)

  • Artists I Should Listen To More, Or: How I Can Become "Eclectic"

    2 Oct 2007, 04:56 by kurashu

There is only so much time in a day and I have so much music to listen to. About twelve and half days worth, 4957 songs, 23.4 gig. I'd like to say I've listened to everything in my library...however, I haven't. I've probably listened to a good portion of it. There are quite a few really good artists I hardly listen to. Artists that I should listen to. Ones with such great albums I'd probably eargasm myself to death. So, I'm going to post my entire artist and album collection and let you ladies and gents pick over them with a fine toothed comb. Feel free to recommend new artists and albums as well critize what I have here as well.

(Ahem. This is part of writing my journal that I download a directory lister because I forgot I deleted the one I used to have. Also, I attempt to learn regexes to make formating this list easier, but give up and do it by hand.)

Note: An artist with no albums listed under means I have a random assortment of songs. This may or may not hold true for artists with albums listed under them as well.

    Added Some New Albums:

    2 O'Clock Girlfriend – A Tale Of Two Cities
Godspeed You! Black Emperor – F#A#Infinity
The Decemberists – The Crane Wife
    Hate Eternal – I, Monarch
I Killed The Prom Queen – When Goodbye Means Forever
Qwel – The Rubber Duckie Experiment
Sage Francis - A Healthy Distrust, Personal Journal, Human the Death Dance, The Makeshift Patriot
Project 86 - Truthless Heroes, And The Rest Will Follow, Songs to Burn Bridges Too, Rival Fractions
Some songs by Nelly & Ludacris

Maybe a few more I forgot. I'm compiling a list of everything recommended. Also, I won't defend my dislike of As I Lay Dying or The Devil Wears Prada except for the fact I plain don't like them. I think AILD is generic and overrated and I think TDWP is crap and overrated.
