There are nine artists known as Red. First one is from USA (the most popular one), the second is from France, the third is from Netherlands, fourth is from Japan, the fifth from Poland, the sixth from UK, the seventh from Russia, the eighth from Switzerland and the ninth from Canada.

Red (USA):
Musically influenced by artists such as Linkin Park, Chevelle, and Muse, Red brings a unique blend of roiling guitars, epic string arrangements, strong melodies, and passionate vocals. The songs on End of Silence deconstruct struggles that listeners face, while painting a picture of redemption in the midst of brokenness. According to lead vocalist Mike Barnes, Red stands for the blood of Christ and what it represents: passion, pain, but ultimately, redemption. Its first single,”Breathe into me” topped the charts at #15 on the US mainstream rock charts.

The five-member band (Mike Barnes, lead vocals; Anthony Armstrong, guitar, BGV’s; Randy Armstrong, bass, piano, BGV’s; Jasen Rauch, guitar; and Hayden Lamb, drums) has been tirelessly developing the eleven-track album with Dove-nominated producer/songwriter Rob Graves over the past two years. End of Silence was mixed by Ben Grosse (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fuel, Sixpence None the Richer).

Bass guitarist Randy Armstrong, identical twin brother of guitarist Anthony Armstrong, hopes their music communicates to listeners that they are not alone in their struggles.

Already touring heavily in the mid-west and west coast, Red has quickly made many fans along the way. With more than 50,000 friends on MySpace (www.myspace.com/dropofred), this band has made it a priority to write each and every fan back personally. Can someone please divide the various Red-projects into several pages. For me the only red one is Red from France with his fabulous albums "Social Hide And Seek" (http://www.last.fm/music/Red/Social+Hide+And+Seek) and "33" (http://www.last.fm/music/Red/33) ; don't wanna the other Red-projects to show up on my last.fm-homepage.
