Loved this before but lately I've loved it so much more. This and 29 are his best. Both perfect from start to finish. Both beautiful. One about heartache, the other about suicide ... I feel like such a sad person!

I don't agree with the comments below. Rock N Roll shows that he was better at writing throwaway songs in 2003 than he was at writing serious songs in 2000. To my ears, only half of Heartbreaker passes muster; Gold was an improvement, while Love Is Hell, though overlong, was his first great album.
