Following the crowd as per usual I saw this survey on someone's journal and I thought to myself now what if I didn't leave the song choices to fate but actually chose what songs should be there...hmmm...now that would be a bit more interesting...

I'm asking your advice.

I'm preoccupied with my statistics at the moment, so while I know, intellectually, this makes very little difference, it seems just terribly important to me.
Neil Young. Neil Young & Crazy Horse. Sondre Lerche. Sondre Lerche & The Faces Down Quartet. What to do with these?
I'm trying to decide if I should change my tags to combine all tracks under simply Neil Young, Sondre Lerche, &c. Sure, they're different projects... sort of. But they're essentially part of the artist's solo work. I want Neil & Sondre to log more plays -- particularly Neil, who actually has a shot at overtaking Joan Baez on my chart eventually, which I desperately want to happen. And if I ever listen to Crazy Horse and the Quartet often enough to put them on my chart, it will annoy me to have two spots for one artist when 50 are already not enough to sum up my taste in music.
So should I rename my artists, or learn to value the integrity of the blah blah blah? -
