The Courteeners are a British band formed in Manchester, in 2006 by Liam Fray (guitar/vocals), Michael Campbell (drums/backing vocals), Daniel Conan Moores (Guitar), and Mark Cuppello (bass). All four band members hail from the Middleton area of Greater Manchester, and have known each other since they were ten years old, and are signed to Loog records.

Morrissey visited their concert in London and said afterwards that he liked their music. They also have a song (What took you so long?) in which they mention Morrissey’s name.

They were on The Sunday Night Project a week or so back, doing No You Didn't, No You Don't. Thought they were very good then, so thought I'd check them out on here. Another up-and-coming British band. Love Not Nineteen Forever. Is the album worth getting? I.e. Are ALL the songs good or just a few?
