There is more than one band called The Days.
1)The Days fom South Devon, UK
Front man, Luke Simpkins, 20, and bass player, Dan Simpkins, 22, are brothers from a small village in Devon. They met their drummer, Harry Meads, 20, at school and in July 2005 they formed The Days. Two months later they all moved to London to further the band, and quickly earned themselves a place on the music circuit.
Although the band’s clean-cut, boyish image will lead to comparisons with several pop/rock teen bands, The Days’s unique ‘piano rock’ sound appeals to a much larger audience. And with support acts like Amanda Ghost and Boy George already under their belt, it’s clear just how far the band’s come since forming.
2)The Days are also a creative pop/rock band based out of Chicago, IL. The Days released their first album, Great Big World, which recently appeared as scrobbled on LastFM, in 2005.
