The Monkees were and remain one of the most under-rated pop/rock bands of the 60's and this is a mighty fine tune indeed. If you think they were just an imitation Beatles then you are way, way, WAY off the mark. I strongly suggest watching HEAD and listening to Mike Nesmith's solo records before you pass judgement.
