If we strive to make our minds and beliefs pure, then we can do works of great merit and perform goodly actions to attain the betterment of our next life. God's Laws of Spirituality (attaining a Higher Life or a Lower Life) are Just. Good actions will give us good results, and bad actions will give us bad results. Our deeds (Scale of Good) will speak for us after this life, in which our next life will be determined upon. As our bad deeds may be quite large, we still have the means of striving towards Goodness; for once we give up wrong and work good, those deeds can be changed to good when we ask for forgiveness. But hurry, time is short; only God can save us; and He has given us the means of hands, feet, and head to help ourselves. The prayer of this song is very deep, and calls upon God to help us in our striving towards goodness. Only by the Generous One's grace can we achieve Its Pure Guidance, and save ourselves from the awful punishment that we have created with our actions, to be welcomed into the Great Bliss.
