Their earlier albums were actually smart and disturbing and unpredictable. On this album, the lyrics are just goofy (in a bad way), and the songs and their structures are really bland and way too straightforward. Personally, I was pretty disappointed by this album.

I loved it instantly myself...then I listened to each track so so many times until finally I grew tired of the album and so only play some of the tracks every now and then. But Climbing the Walls is the best song on the album.

bustedwatermain: Give it some time, that's the way I felt at first. Take Out the Trash is supposed to sound that way, it's almost a parody of the power/pop that is out today. It took me about a month before I really started to love The Else.

I'm actually a little dissapointed in this album. I really love some tracks, like I'm Impressed, Whithered Hope and The Mesopotamians, but the rest of the tracks, like the The Cap'm seem a little forced. Also, I know I'm not the first to say that Take Out the trash sounds a little smash-mouthy, but It's true. I still adore them though.
