In my humble opinion, Pinkerton is Weezer at their best. No wonder it's a less accaimed album: it's a hurting-raw-sensitive-overwhelming set of rock and roll songs that literally sweeps you away. Not for everyone. But for us who love this album, it just doesn't get better than this.

Shadowchu: Nope, Matt Sharp left after Pinkerton. They have Mikey Welsh as their bassist on the Green Album (and only the Green Album). He left to go to rehab before they started Maladroit.
