mewithoutYou’s current popularity can be attributed to their contact with their current record label Tooth And Nail Records and the release of their first two full length albums: A to B: Life and Catch for Us the Foxes. Their third full length album, Brother, Sister, was released on September 26, 2006 by the aforementioned label. They also have an EP titled I Never Said That I Was Brave, which was released in 2001 by Kickstart Audio.
The band was originally conceived as a side project. The Weiss brothers and Kleinberg were playing together in another band called The Operation (who released one album, 2001’s There Is Hope for a Tree Cut Down, on Takehold Records), but Aaron wanted to start another band to experiment with new sounds. After picking up Rick Mazzotta on drums and Ray Tadeo on bass, Kleinberg and the Weiss brothers released their first EP (I Never Said That I Was Brave) in 2001 and shortly thereafter signed to Tooth & Nail Records after a show at Cornerstone Festival the same year. An even earlier six song demo EP called Blood Enough For Us All has also surfaced, apparently having been recorded in 2000.
Around this time Tadeo had moved on, Daniel Pishock picked up as the bass player, and The Operation disbanded soon afterward.

Haha oh i agree. They should also attach live streaming webcams to every musician in the world. So that we can see what they're doing all the time.

The similar artists are automatically generated by what the listeners of the band also listen to. The similar artists are all your faults. It's not like the admin are gonna listen to every band in the world and be like "ooh, they kinda sound like mewithoutYou." Think people. Think.

@TheMonarch and rebornlet: well, besides As Cities Burn's Come Now Sleep album which is the closest i've ever found to mewithoutYou partly because mwY was a huge influence, and Josh Scogin being the lead singer of The Chariot and good friends with Aaron Weiss (lead singer of mwY, which you better already know) ever since they collaborated back in Josh's Norma Jean days, I think mwY has such a unique style that instead of posting music that sounds similar they are forced to post bands that mwY has either played with or that people listen to as well as mwY

TheMonarch1: The 'Christian' label means they get thrown in with whatever fits. So instead of other interesting creative bands in the related artists, there are a bunch of Christian post-hardcore and metalcore bands that don't really relate. At all.

Can anyone find the other three songs from the Blood Enough For Us All EP? They released it themselves around 2000 and there were only about 50 copies made. Three can be found here: http://www.[spam] The comfort you give is only torment 2 flamethrower 3 Working in a factory 4 There is hope for a tree cut down 5 I dare you to pick someone to fight me (knife) 6 a song for rapists
