About Me

Pretty small-minded, but with big ideas and some ridiculous philosophies. My pro activity is perpetuated by your interactivity. A little crazy and pretty lazy, and there's a track record of psychotic apathy to prove it. Been accused as a hippie, and am happy to be free but not without an insecurity which only seems to come with immaturity. Got nothing against no one, but a lot
against double negatives and a huge distaste for those who love to hate. Without a sense of direction, but in possession of some huge dreams and in turn a lot of inescapable nightmares which always seem to come back to haunt at the wrong times. Nothing's gonna stop me, with the exception of my blatant arrogance, and sometimes the feeling that everyone's against me comes creeping into the brain that likes to think it's just paranoid. In a relationship that spands thousands of kilometers and 365 days+. Always got somethin' cooking, a half-baked plan is usually the product.
Musically average and emotionally drugged, I'm cyclically cynical and gorgeously fallible with no Alzheimer's whatsoever. A high-tech low-life, I know the downside of upgrading and the upside of downsizing, a cutting-edge bio-degradable multi-tasker and I can give you a gigabyte in a nanosecond. I'm on point, on task, on message and off drugs. I got no need for coke and speed, I feel no urge to binge and purge. A raging work-a-holic, a working rage-a-holic, I'm an over-believer and an underachiever, prematurely post-traumatic and I take a short position on a long bond. But I'm feeling, I'm giving, I'm caring, I'm sharing. A supporting, bonding, nuturing, primary care-giver. The software on my hard drive is hardcore, no soft porn. I'm a rude dude, but I'm the real deal, I got glide in my stride, I don't snooze so I don't lose and lunch time is crunch time.
I'm hangin' in, there ain't no doubt, I'm hangin' tough, over 'n' out.

For me to respect a band, they must have the following:
Musical genius: This can come in many different forms, whether it be the ability to turn something simple into something awe-inspiring, or to be original and have a sound like no other.
Lyrical genius: I like my lyrics cryptic, layered and intelligent. Rhyming isn't necessary, but it can enhance or emphasize the meaning I get out of the music. For me to like a band's lyrics is for me to relate to that band's lyrics.
Energy Live: It's all well and good to sit in a recording studio creating godly riffs and insane chord progressions, but does the band have the same energy live? Can they improvise in front of thousands of people? Do they just mimic their studio sound live or do they bring something new to the table? Are they intimate with the crowd or do they stand stone cold playing their instruments without seeming to notice those screaming people in front of them?
Think about these three things before recommending a band to me. I'm open-minded, but don't expect to find the recommended artist anywhere in my top 50 if they don't fit any one of these three criteria.
