Placebo: You Don’t Care About Us or Nancy Boy I think. Then all else in as rapid succession as Molko/Olsdall/Hewitt would permit. Although not definitive, Placebo had a big part in my formative years.

Marilyn Manson: Dead will dance for what is left/Worms will wait with baited breath.

Simian Mobile Disco: Attack Decay Sustain Release. The album of 2007. Easily.

Matchbook Romance: None, thank christ. They are seemingly an unfortunate fallout of my penchant for “Radio that sounds like Taking Back Sunday” Emo vices bite me on the ass all the time.

Straylight Run: I don’t think I probably have one – I don’t think they’re probably that good.

Senses Fail: Bloody Romance is the only one I can really remember – I have an EP somewhere but they’re not that noteworthy.

Armor For Sleep: Pass, but they did a nice cover of a The Smashing Pumpkins Song.

Sparta: Cut Your Ribbon, without a shadow of a doubt. But I know someone who would probably disagree with me. I can’t think what his favourite would be, but I’m sure he’s told me more than once.

My Chemical Romance: Thankyou For the Venom. My Chemical Romance are so cheesy and angsty and corporate woop.

We Are Scientists: There’s only the one, isn’t there?? The cat one. With Love and Squalor.

The Smiths: At the moment, Sweet and Tender Hooligan. Of all time, Pretty Girls Make Graves (obviously)

13. What is a good memory you have involving 30?
Ben Folds Five: I went to the The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner Tour when it was at the Albert Hall with my Dad. It was easily the best gig I’ve ever been to, and it will take a lot to beat it. It was the last one before they split :o(

Weezer: What’s with these homies dissin’ my girl? Why do they gotta front? Haha not that one. Probably No One Else but there was one Mini put on a mixtape for me when we were 15/16 that I really liked but I don’t know which one it was. (10mins later at Q28: Island in the Sun just came on and that’s pretty good, but a bit new??)

Nine Inch Nails: No. They all make me insecure, edgy and paranoid. That’s why I like Nine Inch Nails.

Jamie T: Once. At Glasto 2007. He was amazing, but the sound in the tent was terrible unfortunately. He did a lovely cover of A New England by Billy Bragg. And my Dad liked him too.

The Used: I don’t know what it’s called. But I knew the song before I knew it was by them.

The Smashing Pumpkins: I love them all. Iha was a legend, Auf De Maur was a bit of a twat. Billy Corgan is lovely though, I kind of want to lick his shiny baldie head. But I miss his hair too.

Finch: I think they were on at a Reading Festival I was at, but I don’t remember seeing them. Might have. Other than that, no.

A Perfect Circle: They were playing in a teeshirt shop in NewQuay when me and Brooker went on our Cornwall Pirate Search with her little Polish Mother.
