Is it me or are a lot of tracks bad. Half of them ends before the song end. When I play those songs in Winamp instead of ITunes same thing happens, but in Winamp I get strange songlengths (like 20+ minutes)...

Well, this was - by far - the most difficult mix tape this year. Like last year, when the samplers in the summer were close-to-awful, there seems to be a little downfall in the summer months of new music. Not that I dislike the numbers above, but it was hard to compile them (I mean, three songs did not make it last month, and I guess a few wouldn't make it in 'colder' months). Moreover, I didn't want to fill it with song #5 from Maxïmo Park, or #6 from Arctic Monkeys.
Anyway, I really like the songs from The Kissaway Trail, VHS or Beta and The Enemy (who I will see live very soon :) ). I am glad to that Josh Ritter has a new album as well. And I agree with ThomasWebb, next to Foundations, Mariella is a great track from Kate Nash.
Without your recommendations it was not possible. Thank you very much all. And I am looking forward to your comments! -
