Two things of importance: Dore (one of the greats, maybe you've noticed I think so) illustrated Don Q: http://www.doreillustrations.com/donquixote/dore-quixote.html Scrappy-looking thumbnails but when they enlarge, oh joy. http://lh4.ggpht.com/_l2HBRzedtzM/SIszRJlw5KI/AAAAAAAAAGU/MSYu6lbS-uk/CIMG0105.JPG ^ What happens when a hawk flies into a window.

"Dude, your marshmallow" ... Oh yes *grin* I wonder if the rosetta stone has ever been kissed, unlike that smooth spittoon, the blarney. The inkwork's beautiful in these, isn't it? I like this one: http://www.buttercupfestival.com/2-4.htm Y'know, I've held buttercups under someone's chin to see if they 'like butter', and had it done to me, but can't remember ever smelling one. Light paperwork, best not have the fan on or it'll all blow away :p Mhm, see you in a bit, perhaps with a sleep and some other things in-between =)

I was looking for something to express what I made of that strip, which gave me a musing kind of soft chuckle and a lot of unecessary comments. I came across this on the way, reminded me of that pier shot you liked so much, in some way, seems apt somehow http://gallery.photo.net/photo/4033268-lg.jpg

"How", I like that, hehehe. Self-help books are like getting tired of rain dripping down your neck as you stroll along outside, and going to wal-mart and buying a one-size-fits-most stinky plastic poncho (so, there's a range of colours, aggressive red, gentle blue, basic black), to keep the rain out, when really what is needed is a trip to a sensitive and talented tailor who will fit you with a beautiful waterproof trench coat that you never tire of or get impatient with. "How" could be like ... I dunno, flip flops? The strip ... hmmmm. Thinking about that: http://thinkorthwim.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/05/ant-nest-plaster-cast.jpg Like this guy, but me there.

That's (can't be helped) so sweet; very colourful displays <3 I can say that with pure sentiment, being not subject to that particular manufactured holiday! Seoul Man, I picture him with a simple dark suit and open-necked white shirt, Wayfarers too. I hope this isn't too mauve after the lovely pink hearts and all, I figure it can sit alongside in a complex world --- Looking at the four chocolate sticks in the cake picture, then having a look at 11/11 on wiki, I noticed this 'On This Day" - 1634 - Following pressure from Anglican bishop John Atherton, the Irish House of Commons passes "An Act for the Punishment for the Vice of Buggery". I suppose the Korean indifference to European history (it's Armistice Day also) has to be assumed for decency's sake. Ned Kelly was hanged on 11/11, too. His last words "Such is Life". So it goes ...

Ah, tea rex, you and your wild family. It's weird to see a 'big thing' tourist park where the things actually were that big. At first I thought it was some wistful and violent southern fantasy, but no, the creator's catering to the local market. I think it's reassuring that Spain will never have a giant fibreglass Don Q tilting at a T-Rex beside some blasted highway; still, in its place, it fits and would be fun to go walk through, especially at night =)
