College

23 Jul 2008, 05:37

I think college was the best time to discover music for me and probably a lot of other people. Before I ever knew about blogs or anything like that, I used the university radio station (The Blaze) and music store (Hoodlums). Looking back, there were so many songs I love to this day. By the way, Hoodlums closed because of flood damage and I miss it. Some of these songs I woke up to every morning because my alarm clock was The Blaze. I also watched MTVU every single day my freshman and sophomore year. My freshman year (in 2004), I turned 18 and there was a heated political atmosphere which is also reflected in the music. I miss those days! Anyway, here are a bunch of songs semi in order from when I remember hearing them.
