Sometimes when I’m all bored and with nothing better to do, I go to flickr or YouTube and just type away any given artist name. It’s proven to be a good way to pass the time.

Here’s a quick list of my favorite picture of my Top 20 artist... countdown style! I have to say some artist just don’t have that many great shots, while others have an endless ocean to choose from.

Live @ The National, Virginia. Not that many good Thrice picture, too bad. This one is not bad at all. I really like the saturated color captured in Dustin’s face as he screams.

There’s just something special about this picture, the look on each of their faces. While Chris T. is checking whether stocks on clarinets have gone up or down, Chris Bear is thinking about grabbing that muffin. Daniel is daydreaming about JoJo. Ed has the most childish, cute look I’ve ever seen on him. And Beast, well he’s just mad at Chris Bear for even daring to look at that muffin. That belongs to him.

The Twilight Sad

Live @ Subterranean, Chicago. This is just another perfect timing picture! Captured during Talking With Fireworks/Here, It Never Snowed, where James throws himself in front of the drumset to pound away, as if Mark needed help to make some noise with that thing.



The Twilight Sad has a lot of good pictures in flickr. I guess the reason is because they play in a lot of small venues and are far more accessible to be photographed properly.

This is a great backlight shot of James. I’m a sucker for good backlight pictures.
