I really don't know what you're talking about. How would you know whether I'm cool or not. FYI I am a pretty cool gal!

Hihi, a good starting point for The Fall is 'Slates' -it's fantastic. There is the original version, and an extended one :) at least, that's how I got into The Fall :)

No problem, here's a great blog for more stuff: http://maybeherenow.blogspot.com/ I hate to advertise (it's not my blog anyway), but I got a lot of good stuff from there.

Do you like Blackalicious? I ran into a couple of albums and it sounds like something you would like, I mean just look at the name.

Well I've heard the new Verve single and to be honest I think their glory days have come and gone. Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds are still fantastic, but on the whole my vote would be for Arcade Fire. They have a near-unique sound, they've changed indie pop into something more epic, they're they're like the biggest cult band in the world. Muse and Radiohead are great bands, but muse are too similar to Radiohead to be much higher and Radiohead are simply Radiohead. Still doing brilliant music (and I'm told they're definately worth seeing live) but too), but I don't know. maybe they're just too big to be embraced. Coldplay's lyrics are too plain to even think about, and the music seems to be heading that way too. And that ends my little bit of compalining.

Thank you - and it is a pity that we're unlikely to ever have another band that can be defined as generation defining - we'd given up on having another Beatles, but who would you say the greatest band in the world at the moment is? If it truly is Coldplay, then the musical end is nigh.
