oh it was a good show for sure. wish you could have been there! They didn't end up going on until like 10, so it may have been possible. stupid website claiming a 7:30 show. also--I don't think I even thanked you for my box, which is absolutely ridiculous. So thanks so much. I was so excited to open it. It smelled like home, and now my whole closet smells like home.

Whoa! You joined up! You've got one up on Coy now. I think everyone should have one of these. An awesome move on your part. P.S. I'm finally sitting down to make you guys the playlist that I promised Coy like 4 months ago. Music coming your way Monday.

About Me

Well, since this forum is all about music, I'll start talking about me by talking about my favorite types of tunes.

If I had my own label, a good number of the bands would have a pretty happy and cute sound (think Little Ones), then there would be a bunch of guys and their guitars (Ben Lee), some solid guy/girl duets (Stars, Belle & Sebastian), electronic wonderful-ness (Zero 7), some guys who just want to make you dance (The Go! Team), a dash of ridiculousness (Nice Weather for Ducks by Lemon Jelly, Salmon Dance by The Chemical Bros or (please don't break me out of) Party Jail! by Coconut Coolouts) and a whole lot of sugary pop Swedes.

Actually, ethereal Swedish pop is my newest obsession. My dream vacation is to fly over there and see lots of shows. Anyone in? And I wouldn't mind working for Labrador.

I also like egg shaker, jazz flute and driving piano parts.

I'm too independent.

""But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
whose confidence is in him.
He will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit." (jeremiah 17:7-8)

I dislike suburban sprawl, chain restaurants, strip malls and constraining systems.

"On the real life that you're living,
You are living!
Now you're stopping!!
Just to sit, just to sit
In front of us and just watch,
Watch us televisions dream of life.
We came to earth just to look inside of you,
Look inside of us and you will find:
We want to be like you." - The Music Tapes

"It's like the joy of meeting someone who knows your favorite cousin - everything proceeds from this momentous, bridging fact. Like two Maine license plates honking and waving on a California freeway; the warmth of shared exile;" - Anagrams by Lorrie Moore
